I’ll have to come back and tell more of the story, but we recently received a baby doppler to listen for the heartbeat at home. It has a great feature that allows us to save it to the computer. There’s a lot of background noise that I need to figure out how to clean up, but it’s still amazing as it is. And to think we are just at 12 weeks!
Hi Angie and Johnathan. So glad to hear that things are going good. It truly brought me back to all three times when I “first” heard the heartbeat. It gave me butterflies just reading about your experience. I remember crying out of sheer joy. I also wanted to tell you that all the little weird noises you were talking about is your baby bumping around in there. Those monitors are extremely sensitive so they can pick up pretty much anything. I can’t wait to find out what your little peanut is!!! Angie, I know it sucks, but your stomach will return to normal soon!!!
Just got off the phone with you. Matt and I have just listened to the heartbeat of the little one. It is music to my ears, it is “weird” sounding to Matt.He can’t fool me,he is looking forward to meeting the baby. We turned the volumne up as far as we could and it was pretty loud. As the docs would say “little one has a good strong heartbeat. So exciting…….love mom
WOW! :-) Well, I would have to say that hearing Baby Brandon’s heartbeat (and squirming around in there!) was a great Christmas present. I called Jeff into the office to hear it. Even Jeff grinned from ear to ear. I think it brings back memories…
You know, this is the start of a brand new year. Just think… next Christmas, you’ll have another stocking to hang! Have a VERY merry Christmas guys. Love you all!

p.s. John: how’s the foot massaging coming? :-)
Ang: If he gets a little slack, just let me know. O:-)
I’m so glad ya’ll have this website. It keeps my friends and me in the loop. A lot of the people in my department came running when they heard the weird sounds coming from my computer!!! I had the volume up REALLY loudly! Also, my friends who don’t have grandchildren are living vicariously through this experience with me. They let me know when you don’t blog regularly. So, blog VERY regularly. Love ya and I’ll see you Mother’s Day weekend. XOXOXOXOXOXOXOX
